Bioanalysis

The Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA), University of Navarra, for its Small Molecule Discovery platform is seeking a scientist to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of small molecules from in-vitro ADME to in-vivo non-clinical PK studies supporting efforts for the discovery of new drug candidates.

This position requires a Ph.D. in Bioanalysis, Pharmacokinetics, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Drug Metabolism or related fields. Post-doctoral or industrial experience is helpful.
The candidate should have practical experience with a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant bench work. Candidates should possess hands-on relevant experience in sample preparation as well as strong background and proven bench work in LC/MS/MS quantitative bioanalysis. Additional helpful experience includes microsomal stability and PAMPA assays, P450s inhibition, … and use of data analysis software such as WinNonlin.

Using these techniques, the scientist will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams. Therefore, strong interest in interdisciplinary approaches and collaboration is a must.

Background or/and experience in drug discovery process is an advantage.

The candidate must have excellent communication skills, and must work effectively with scientists from other disciplines – proactive and a team player.
